Breast Cancer Awareness

I have found it so rewarding using proceeds from my headbands to benefit such worthy causes such as the Tri-County Police Wives Club and the families of fallen officers. The 'Thin Blue Line' headbands will always be available, but this month I am working with a friend who is raising money for breast cancer awareness and ultimately a CURE!! She is on a team with 6 other amazing ladies, called Nickels for Nipples, who will be walking in the Cleveland 3-Day walk at the end of this month - they walk a total of 60 miles over the 3 days & one of their team members is currently undergoing breast cancer treatments & she doesn't even have breasts any more! She's amazing! I don't even know her, but she is amazing and is very inspiring! Each of them had to commit to raising $2300 minimum, so that's $16,100 from just her team! Three of the team members have not quite met their commitment and so they are in that "final push" time frame to help each team member meet their individual commitment by the end of the month. I'm thrilled to be donating 20% of my new Breast Cancer Awareness headbands to the Nickels for Nipples team in an effort to help them reach their goals & of course the ultimate goal of finding a cure! Check out the different options to the left & check out their team page at this link:
